Shell on the Beach #101

We outcome stay again at the Shell. Wish we could have stayed longer. Positive: The location, it had laundry facilities, the kitchen was very awesome. Negative: It could have used a dresser. We understand the need to lock the tv controls down but it would have been nice to be able to turn the tv on and off from bed. The bed was so uncomfortable that we had to buy a 3 inch memory foam topper to be able to sleep.

All amenities were in room. Just needs a few upgrades! Location was great Positive: Location was good. Walking distance to literally everything Negative: Floors were not cleaned, & bed was super uncomfortable! Like sleeping on springs

Bed was not comfortable….we slept on the couch and never could get the washer to work which is inconvenient when staying a week. Everything else at the property was great.

The property itself was wonderful. Could have used a few extra supplies such as handsoap, toilet paper, garbage bags & a much larger than an office wastebasket. Our luggage was locked up on the front porch for about 5 hrs and during that time period someone cut the backpack off and stole it. Just beware of the surroundings in that area.

it was perfect for the 2 of us. The room was clean & had everything we needed. We did not have a car & walked to the beach, restaurants & shops. Our hosts were very friendly & answered our questions quickly. (There is 1 step up into the small shower - it did not bother us, but if you have trouble with steps or need a large shower it may be a problem. ). We recommend this room & would love to return in the future.
